Project Overview:

Washington Integrity, a corporate financing and financial services firm wanted Pi Social Media to increase the visibility and social buzz around their brand.

The Mission:

Because of the nature of the client’s business, it was clear that more than the numbers; it would be the quality of connections that mattered. With that in mind, Pi Social Media would have to:-

  • Create a social buzz about the client’s brand in financial and business circles
  • Increase the visibility of the client in very specific circles through multiple social media platforms
  • Establish the client’s expertise and enforce their position as thought leader through a series of informative, incisive blog posts and updates
  • Encourage conversation around the client’s services and measure and monitor feedback
  • Create business connections and alliances for the client

Action Taken:

Pi Social Media decided it would be best to run a highly focused campaign via various social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter, targeting businesses and potential customers who would be interested in the services provided by Washington Integrity. To that end Pi took the following steps:-

  • Regular industry related updates on social media platform to establish Washington Integrity’s expertise.
  • Updates on Facebook and Twitter related to the various services on offer by the client
  • Informative, heavily researched blog updates on issues that would affect clients of Washington Integrity
  • Stimulating conversation on multiple social media channels and related groups to create a vibrant social media presence
  • Reaching out to location and industry specific individuals on the social web to promote the client’s brand and their services
  • Designing the blog banner, the Facebook profile image and the Twitter background to match the overall branding

Results:

By the end of the campaign, the client’s Twitter channel was abuzz with activity, with people exchanging ideas, opinions and news about the client and their services. The Twitter following had reached nearly a thousand targeted individuals who would be interested in the client’s services.
