Project Overview:
Kosama, a leading body transformation program in the US with franchises all over the country, wanted a social media campaign to build their brand’s presence on various channels and also increase their online reach.
The Mission:
The objective was to use various social media channels to unify the Kosama community and interact with members from various locations all over the US, as well as popularise the Kosama brand and its various benefits among interested parties. Specific objectives included
- Expanding and monitoring Kosama’s Facebook and Twitter communities
- Posting regular updates and relevant information on these platforms
- Creating conversations among users about the various benefits of the programme
- Market Kosama’s products and services to interested parties, based on their location.
Action Taken:
Pi Social Media launched an exhaustive campaign through various social media platforms to make Kosama a household name. Some of the actions undertaken by Pi were:-
- Regular blog updates on the Kosama blog on topics like health, fitness, and nutrition
- Promotion of said blog posts on social media channels
- Designing the blog title for the Kosama blog and the Twitter background and Facebook profile image in keeping with the overall Kosama brand
- Creating unique and informative articles with backlinks to the Kosama website and submitting these to article directories
- Developing press releases to announce key events and happenings at Kosama and submitting these to various PR directories
- Posting regular and relevant updates on social media channels like Facebook and Twitter
- Interacting with fans and followers via polls and by participating in discussions
- Commenting on relevant YouTube videos to spread awareness about the Kosama brand
Results:
APi’s ocial media efforts resulted in a near four-fold increase in the number of fans on the Kosama page and a near forty-fold increase in the number of Twitter followers, taking the Kosama brand to thousands of relevant, targeted individuals.
- The number of Facebook fans increased from 302 at the start of the campaign to 1148 when the campaign ended.
- The number of Twitter followers increased from 161 at the start of the campaign to 5935 at the end of the campaign.
